TELEPATHIC STATION NINE
Sound check in preparation of opening for Seattle band, The Purrs at The Observatory, November 3rd, 2018, Spokane, Washington,
Telepathic Station Nine began as a solo project for singer and multi-instrumentalist, Andy Cook, in 2015. Writing, recording, and performing all the parts for the debut album, …transmission intercept…, Andy released the album under his own name in 2016.
With visions of playing the songs live, Andy sought to bring others into the fold. In a chance encounter at the greatest performance Spokane has ever seen, the Sir Mix-A-Lot show at the Perry Street Shakedown, Andy reconnected with his old friend from the Spokane Falls Community College music program, bassist Logan Callen.
To fill out the band on drums, Andy reached out to his childhood best friend, Chris Cuddy. Growing up in the Spokane Valley, Andy and Chris met in the first grade and spent their days marauding the neighborhood on their BMX bikes, eventually learning to play guitar together as teenagers.
Andy’s decades-long connections with Chris and Logan set in musical motion, the trio renamed the project, Telepathic Station Nine and sent it out into the world.
